London Day Two, Part Three: 221b Baker Street, and A Late Night Stroll Along the Thames

For all of my Sherlock Holmes fan friends:
 Awww Yeeeeaaahhhh!

It's easy to be contemplative when you're standing next to Sherlock.

If this isn't the coolest picture ever, I really don't know what is.

We unfortunately didn't have time to go in before they closed :( but I'm going back soon!

Sherlockian era costumed copper!  By the way, this guy was Irish and his accent just about made me burst with excitement about going to Ireland.  One week, guys!  (But that's another post.)

The last thing I simply HAD to do was walk along the Thames at night.
How can you pass that up?

Tower Bridge.  You should remember it from the Olympics last summer.  Just imagine the Olympic rings hanging from the center and you'll instantly recognize it!  By the way, I'm hoping to see the Olympic Coliseum when I go back. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oh, no big deal really...
It's just
THE GLOBE THEATRE!
Mind blown!

And maybe the coolest picture of the day taken completely by accident:
We're standing on London Bridge by the way.  Yeah, like the song.

The London Eye all lit up.

While waiting to be seated for dinner, we decided that this was easily the best day ever!

Well, except for Kate who couldn't fit on our bench.
